Background
- Fuerza Eólica de San Matías is a wind farm located in the community of San Matías, Baja California.
- This wind farm includes 8 GE Energy 3.8-130 wind turbines, with a total nominal capacity of 30,400 kW.
Location
FESM is located in Baja California, approximately 150 km south of Mexicali and 178 km west of Puerto Peñasco. The project is interconnected to the power grid via a substation located 120 meters from the site, where the 115kV transmission line between San Felipe and Trinidad is located.
